CATALOGUING AND DIGITALIZATION

WHY THIS MODULE?

This module provides the foundation for cataloguing and digitising a fashion archive, with reference to ministerial standards and best practices of various public projects of international importance. Together with consultants and industry experts, the fields relevant to filing items that can be found in a sector archive will be analysed, as well as the software available on the market and the related rules for image acquisition and filing.

The final workshop will be the opportunity to put them into practice with some of the most fascinating drawings on paper and fabric contained in the F.FRI textile design archive.
