Why take this course?
To gain specific legal training in the fashion industry, a rapidly growing field that requires increasingly specialized skills. The rules that control design, production, marketing, and promotion will be covered in detail, along with emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence.
Thanks to a multidisciplinary approach, you will develop the skills necessary to support an ever-evolving sector, becoming a knowledgeable and up-to-date professional.
Recipients
To participate in the project, you must meet the general requirements set out in the announcement of selection, namely:
- University students (bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree programmes);
- Students enrolled in first- or second-level courses at AFAM Institutes, particularly Fine Arts Academies;
- Persons with a university degree: bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree, or academic diploma
- First- or second-level degree, obtained no more than 36 months prior to the date of application for these opportunities.
Pursuant to Regional Council Resolution No. 1298/2015, participants in the activities must be resident or domiciled in the Emilia-Romagna region prior to registration, with the sole exception of those enrolled in AFAM universities/institutes located in the Region, for whom residence/domicile is not relevant.
This project is particularly suited to graduates/students from the humanities and arts, as it requires a strong communication aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and creativity that can be channelled into improving the digital experience for all.
Potential recipients from other disciplines are not excluded, however, if interested in developing their knowledge in this field.
The course will be activated once 12 participants have registered.

Programme and Class Schedule
A total of 60 hours of in-person instruction, at the end of which a certificate of participation will be issued to all those who have attended at least 70% of the total hours.
The course contents and learning objectives are:
- Branding in Fashion: functions and applicable regulations
- Fashion Design: drawings, models, copyright.
- Know-how and confidential information: legal qualification, management, protection.
- Unfair Competition and Antitrust Law.
- Brand Protection: regulations, strategies and precautions for anti-counterfeiting.
- Data Management and Privacy.
- Judicial remedies for protecting IP rights in Fashion. ADR and arbitration.
- Contracts for Fashion: between practices, disruption and innovative collaborations.
- Influencer Marketing: Advertising Regulatory Framework and Contractual Practices
- AI and New Technologies at the Service of Fashion
- Sustainability and Circular Fashion: Rethinking Design for Product, People and Planet.
Classes will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
